Celebrating 50 Years of Ohio Softball

Our story begins in 1974 with the establishment of Ohio Softball. Now, 50 years later, we reflect on the remarkable dedication and resilience of countless Bobcats. Each individual who has donned the Bobcat uniform or supported Ohio Softball has left an impact. From our first regular season MAC championship in 1995, to our triumphant MAC tournament victory in 2014, and both MAC titles in 2018, our success on the field has resonated across Athens. Yet, our pride extends far beyond the softball diamond.

Every year, our team not only competes for MAC championships but also strives to excel as individuals. Balancing rigorous academic schedules with the demands of competition, our athletes embody the Bobcat spirit. The lessons learned from these experiences are invaluable, shaping our athletes into well-rounded individuals. The unwavering support of the softball community remains instrumental in enriching this journey.
