Spotlight: 1984-1993

This remarkable group of young women set the standard for future generations of Bobcats, leaving an indelible mark on Ohio University Softball. Over the course of this decade, the athletes adorned in green and white continually pursued excellence, cementing the program's legacy as a dominant force for years to come.

Within this illustrious era, an impressive eight of the ten Ohio Softball record holders for Earned Runs Average emerged. Under the guidance of three esteemed coaches - Karen Stadeck, Nancy Zirafi, and Chris Miner - the team amassed a remarkable total of 222 victories.

Furthermore, this decade of excellence produced nine Academic All-MAC selections, five MAC first-team selections, and two MAC second-team selections, underscoring the team's commitment to both athletic and academic achievement
