Ohio University Chillicothe General Scholarship Endowment
This fund provides scholarship assistance to students of the Chillicothe Campus while also providing the donor with a 50% match from The Ohio University Foundation. This scholarship is available to qualifying students of financial need.

Ohio University Chillicothe Endowment
This fund is used to support campus improvement projects, such as the recent renovations to the Stevenson Center. Future projects involve renovations to the Shoemaker Center, which remains the largest venue in our community for athletic events and other non-athletic events like concerts, dances, and fairs. With some basic updates, we could increase its usage considerably, making it another popular in-town facility that will draw people to the campus.

Ohio University Chillicothe Student Resource and Emergency Support Fund
This fund provides assistance to students for emergency expenditures that may be detrimental to their pursuit of a degree. This fund also provides assistance for travel expenses, testing, professional dress, textbooks, and the student food pantry.

Ohio University Chillicothe Dean’s Circle Fund
This discretionary fund enables the dean to support beneficial initiatives that are not covered in the present budget. Often these are related to starting new support systems for students, enriching present educational opportunities for students and the community, and/or coordinating community partnership enterprises. Examples of how such funds have been used include: purchasing eclipse glasses for the solar eclipse program; purchasing plants to beautify the garden space in front of the Stevenson Center; and purchasing lunch for the participants in the Mock Interviews for our education students.

The Bruce Lombardo Hopewell Culture Internship Program Support Fund
Established in 2021 by Dr. Rick Rooney, this fund honors Bruce Lombardo (1956 – 2017), retired teacher, published author, conservationist, and biologist who worked at the Hopewell Culture National Historic Park, as well as several other cultural sites in the Chillicothe area. This program is designed to support an Ohio University student with a paid internship position with the Hopewell Culture National Historic Park.
