About

Welcome to our crowdfunding campaign to support the Scalia Laboratory Fund and to honor Tim Scalia on what would be his 63rd birthday. Your contributions will play a crucial role at Ohio University in advancing meteorological research, supporting students, and enhancing public access to weather data and forecasts. With your help, we can continue to make a positive impact in the field of meteorology while celebrating the life of Tim Scalia.

Tim's journey at Ohio University began as a freshman majoring in Pre-Meteorology in the fall of 1979. Although his time with us was tragically cut short in April of 1980, his memory lives on through the Scalia Lab and the lives it impacts. Please join us and make a gift this year to honor Tim leading up to his March 17th birthday.

Did you know? A gift of $100 can cover the cost of registration of two Bobcats attending the annual student conference in meteorology. A gift of $200+ can support scholarships or cover the cost of lab equipment.
