Ohio University’s Sports Administration program is celebrating a historic milestone, 60 years of excellence as the first program of its kind in the world and still the #1 ranked program today. Since 1966, we have set the standard for preparing leaders in the sports industry.

Built on innovation and experiential learning, 100% of our students engage in hands-on opportunities through partnerships, graduate assistantships, and industry experiences. From the New York Capstone to major sporting events, students gain real-world exposure before they ever graduate.

Our impact is global. With students from 30 states and 10 countries across 5 continents, and a network of more than 2,100 alumni, the Ohio Sports Administration family reaches far beyond Athens. Our graduates go on to lead across professional sports, collegiate athletics, and beyond.
